The Gran Fondo Pirineus is probably your next big challenge sports ⚡️. If vacations for you mean suffering and magnificence, bravo already, you’ve got French mastered to perfection 🇫🇷. But beyond that, you’re also welcome in CataloniaGirona 🇪🇸. The Gran Fondo Pirineus isn’t here to decorate. We’ll meet you at the end of June for an epic cyclosportive in 3 parts, depending on how your calves feel: the never-ending route of 144 km (3 600 mD+), the tougher version of 122 km (2 400 mD+) or the more discovery-focused format of 78 km (1 400 mD+). For that, head to the start line in Camprodon, a village so beautiful it looks like a period film set. But here, you won’t play a mere extra—you’ll be the lead hero of this extraordinary action-packed film 🦸‍♂️.

The route feels a bit like a rollercoaster, but without the rail safety 🎢. And the wagon doesn’t move by itself—your legs’ power has to drive it 😬. Whatever you choose, the profile is demanding, with mountain roads winding between peaks 🏔️. The Coll de Santigosa, the Capsacosta peak, or the climb to Vallter 2000 will push you to the limit 🪡. The start and finish of the 122 km and of the 78 km take place in the town of Camprodon, in Spain 🏁, at the confluence of the Ter and the Ritort 🪨. You’ll be able to dip your feet in the water and come back a few hours later to sip a gentle sangria facing the mountain 🍹. Between the two: sweat, elevation gain and sunshine ☀️. Don’t sabotage yourself—prepare your race as best you can. For the 144 km, train your thighs to push on the climbs 🚲. The organizers won’t cut you a break 🎁. If this first distance already scares you, drop about twenty kilometers and reduce your elevation gain by 1 200 mD+. Benefits, right? Well, if you want to take on your first cycling challenge but aren’t used to competition: start with the 78 km ✅. You’ll ride through majestic landscapes, with plenty of switchbacks, mountain-slope roads and iconic cols 🌄. Crossing towns like Beget, or Oix ranked among the most beautiful of Spain, you’ll feel like you’re the courier the leading actor in a sword-and-cape film, Lycra on top 🎽. And because we know what really motivates you, a Pasta Party awaits at the finish to recharge without guilt 🍝.

Once you’ve stopped the bike, savor the moment 😌. Camprodon, it’s also the land of cookies (the famous "Birba"), an local institution since 1893 that beats any energy gels in the world 🍪. If you’ve brought your kids along to watch you ride for 6h on a bike stage 😅, return the favor and take them to see the animals at Parc Molló or enjoy a digestive stroll along the Ter 🐻. They’ll be grateful, for sure 😎. If you want to discover more natural wonders, know that you’ll be cycling not far from the volcanic zone of Garrotxa, famous for its lunar landscapes 🌋.
