After the finish, the region invites you to unwind along the Beer and Wine Route and to explore the surrounding vineyards.

Bike Maraton Miękinia (Lower Silesian Voivodeship, just outside Wrocław) is a race that has, over the years, earned legendary status. It’s here, at the heart of the land of the Strzegom Hills and Miękinia forests, that the biggest MTB marathon circuit in Poland traditionally kicks off. The energy at the starting line of the season’s first race is always electrifying!
The Miękinia course is renowned for being devilishly fast, dynamic, and smooth (the famous flow). You won’t find alpine gradients here, but quick sequences of steep short climbs, forest singletracks, treacherous roots, and fast gravel sections can seriously torch the legs early in spring.
Once the finish line is crossed, the bike washed, and the finisher’s medal in hand, the Miękinia surroundings offer great options for resting and celebrating:
Winnice Jaworek and Lower Silesian Beer & Wine Route : Miękinia is the wine country capital of Lower Silesia! Located right by Jaworek Estate (one of the largest and oldest in Poland), it’s the perfect spot to unwind after the race. A stroll among the vines with a glass of local wine is a recovery worthy of a king 🍇🍷.
Mrozów Palace and surrounding parks: A stone’s throw from Miękinia sits a charming neo-Gothic palace in Mrozów, surrounded by a historic park. The perfect, peaceful spot to soothe leg cramps 🏰🌳.
The Szubieniczna Hills and forest trails: If you still haven’t had your fill of cycling (which we doubt), the local forests are bursting with rides and historical curiosities, with unique geological formations.
The proximity to Wrocław: If, after the race, you’re missing the big city, the Miękinia train station puts you in the Market Square of Wrocław in under 20 minutes to continue the celebration of a successful start 🏙️.
