The Foulées de l’Isle take place in L’Isle-Jourdain (Gers) in June, with three urban routes available in the evening: Short’Isle 5 km, Girl’isle 7.5 km 100% women, and Big’Isle 10 km as a team event. Start and finish on the town hall square, festive atmosphere with live music and performances, a very flat and sociable Gers vibe. Parking, secure changing rooms, and activities before a regional meal.
A race in the Sud-Ouest is always a big moment 👍 ! Come get pumped up in the Occitanie region! Each year since 2015, L'Isle-Jourdain in Gers welcomes you under the hot June sun. ☀️
For these runs of L’Isle, three loops are on offer: the Short'Isle de 5km, the Girl'isle of 7.5km 100% women, because you deserve it, and the Big'Isle of 10km that you can do as a team. All races take place at early evening, so we avoid the hottest hours and afternoon heat anyway, plus it’s nap time 🥱 ! Start and finish at the Town Hall square in the heart of L'Isle, with shows and music to keep the pace 🎵. In between you’ll discover the city with these very rolling 100% urban. So take the chance to beat your record and bring out the best in you! Plus you’ll have the support of many spectators along the course. That’s the Gers-friendly atmosphere ! 🤝
Thanks to the organizers, everything is set for you to have a truly enjoyable moment. First, a parking is planned for runners 🅿️, so there’s no risk of getting a ticket. The only speed limit allowed is the one with runners on foot ! Next, your belongings will be secured in lockers🔒. You’ll be treated to plenty of animations and festivities as well as a warm-up with music before the race 🏋️ to get you motivated. Finally you’ll be pampered with a physiotherapy session and a nice meal featuring regional specialties like the cassoulet, confit and foies gras. It smells like summer in here! ⛱️
If you love nature, the viaduct of L'Isle-Jourdain surrounded by greenery is a must-see in the region. And to see life in pink, visit Toulouse and its European Campanaire Art Museum. You’ll see, they don’t call it the Pink City for nothing!
