Welcome to the inaugural Nogi BJJ open to be held in Central Otago!
We are creating a lower cost, high value competition series to reflect what we all put in to be able to compete at a high level.
Nogi only this event, more will be organised in the future to go along with our annual MMA shows in Cromwell.
Kids and adults brackets.
Round robin bracket system dependent on registration numbers, all entries will have multiple matches, including true second and third.
Ruleset similar to SJJF rules, slight differences including:
Arm in strangles (darce/anaconda/arm in guillotine allowed in age 11yo and up kids brackets).
Twisting knee submissions allowed from Advanced Adult brackets upwards (purple and above).
Absolute brackets for male and female!
$20 entry fee, winner takes all. (Cash prize for first place in absolute bracket only).
