Le Haninge Trail se déroule dans le cadre pittoresque de Rudanterrängen et propose trois distances : 5 km, 10 km et 16,7 km. Le parcours le plus long suit l'itinéraire légendaire du championnat suédois de ski de 1990, avec une variété de terrains difficiles. Le parcours de 5 km est un sentier vallonné avec une surface principalement composée de gravier et d'aiguilles de pin, tandis que le parcours de 10 km combine principalement du gravier lisse et de la terre avec environ 2 km de terrain plus accidenté qui peut devenir boueux par temps humide. Le parcours de 16,7 km alterne des sections faciles à courir avec des collines escarpées et des surfaces variées, ce qui en fait un véritable joyau forestier. Les courses de 5 km et 10 km comprennent toutes deux une compétition par équipe, où les trois premiers arrivés d'un club ou d'un groupe comptent pour le score de l'équipe.
