Discover the ridges around Annecy in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region during the Hardloop Trail d'Annecy Les Glaisins. Two trail distances of 14 km and 20 km invite you to explore technical paths and tracks, with about 500m D+ for the 14 km and 1000m D+ for the 20 km, near the ramparts and Lake Annecy. After the effort, enjoy the city: old town, the lake, and Savoyard gastronomy to wrap up the sporty escape.
On the go in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the Haute-Savoie department! At the start of April, the forecast looks like spring temperatures 🌡️, but mountain freshness 🏔️ ahead! Two distances are offered by the organizers for running on the ridgelines around Annecy: a 14km and a 20km, as well as some kids' races 👦🏼.
You kick off your Savoyard journey from the Glaisins gym area, for the shortest distance. Head toward Rampignon walls, not far from the stunning Lake Annecy, second 🥈 lake by area in France 🇫🇷 🇫🇷 in terms of size. With 80% of trail routes, the 14km course will delight you with its natural technicity 🍃 and its 500mD+. The trail of 20km won’t lag in terms of technique and will plunge you 🏊🏼♂️, not into the lake, but onto the banks of the Fier 💦. Next, you’ll climb the first slopes of the Mont Veyrier 🏔️ to reach beautiful single tracks for a course composed of 85% of paths this time, including 1000mD+ 📈.
After the race, a visit to Annecy is a must! Its lake, its old town, and its beautiful houses 🏠: all worth seeing! Grab your bag 🎒 and head out on an expedition in this city where life is good—you won't regret it!
