Le parcours est une boucle sur un terrain désertique vallonné, avec des chemins pour jeeps, des sentiers à voie unique et des ornières dans le sable, au sud de Ridgecrest, dans les collines Spangler. Il offre une vue incroyable sur la Sierra Nevada méridionale et des conditions de course géniales en décembre. On pense que c'est un super parcours pour les débutants comme pour les coureurs expérimentés. Les coureurs sont pris en charge par 9 superbes points de ravitaillement, situés tous les 5 km environ, où ils trouveront de l'eau, des boissons électrolytiques et d'autres produits adaptés aux courses d'endurance.
