Le semi-marathon international ICA à Colombo, au Sri Lanka, rassemble des coureurs du monde entier pour une course à travers l'une des capitales côtières les plus dynamiques d'Asie du Sud. Partant du cœur de Colombo, l'événement propose un semi-marathon et des courses plus courtes, le tout dans un décor composé d'avenues bordées de palmiers, de boulevards en bord de mer et de monuments de l'époque coloniale. Le parcours est principalement plat et rapide, ce qui le rend idéal pour les athlètes chevronnés comme pour les coureurs amateurs qui cherchent à battre leur record personnel. Il présente de légères variations d'altitude et offre une excellente visibilité tout au long du parcours, avec une brise marine qui apporte une fraîcheur naturelle. Des points d'eau et des postes de secours sont disponibles tous les 2 km. Le climat tropical récompense les coureurs matinaux avec une vue imprenable sur le lever du soleil au-dessus de l'océan Indien.
