Le Mezza Maratona Internazionale delle Due Perle est un prestigieux semi-marathon qui se déroule le long de la magnifique côte ligure. La course offre un parcours rapide et pittoresque qui relie deux « perles » de la Riviera italienne : un parcours côtier aller-retour entre Santa Margherita Ligure et Portofino. Organisé par la Fédération d'athlétisme de la région de Ligurie, l'événement comprend des départs par vagues et utilise un chronométrage par puce. Les participants peuvent également choisir le « Double Pearl Challenge », qui ajoute une boucle supplémentaire à Santa Margherita pour ceux qui souhaitent parcourir plusieurs distances.
