Bring back your strawberry 🍓, to have a blast at a unconventional, fun, and festive themed race like they do in the North!

Since 1990 (the birth year of a certain Mr Bean), the village of Verlinghem in the Hauts-de-France region hosts the Strawberry Jogging (not to be confused with strawberry trail) 🍓 in a unique setting for two distances of 4 km and 10 km. Moreover, the event offers a hike, kids' routes, and the race is open to para-athletes. It's in May that you will have to kick off at the favorite event of Charlotte On the 10 km you will need to complete 2 laps: a 6 km loop and a 4 km loop.

First cross the village with its famous red bricks that are a hallmark of the local architecture in the Ch’Nord then head into the countryside around before returning to your start. The flat, fast course and short distances will let you go full throttle to chase records ⏲️. If you’re not a competitive soul and you’re there mainly to have fun, you can simply soak up the atmosphere with family and fellow runners. Throughout the race you’ll have support and enthusiasm from locals, plus street musicians spread along the routes 🎶 . Even after the race, the party continues! On the agenda: prize drops into the crowd and you’ll receive your prize… a tray of strawberries, of course 🍓! It’s a tradition that makes this race truly juicy and flavorful.
