Open to all eligible Judo Queensland members. This is also an ideal opportunity for less experienced players to compete against people from other clubs in their own weight and age categories to gain valuable competition knowledge and competence.

Min 2 mats (6x6)

Divisions include U13, U15, Cadets, Junior & Senior Men/Women and Veterans

Weigh-in Times

Weigh-in times for each age group are as follows: U13 (11 - 12 years old in 2026) - closes at 8am

U15 (13 - 14 years old in 2026) closes at 8am

Cadets (15-17 years old in 2026) - closes at 9:30am

Junior Men/Women (18 - 20 years old in 2026) & veterans closes at 10am

Senior Men/Women closes at 11am

Gi Requirements

All players competing in the South Queensland Regional Competition must as a minimum wear a white judogi.

Notes

As per the Judo Queensland Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist.

Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted.

The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Director and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enters the mat to compete.

U13 & U15: $35 + $15 per extra division Cadets - Veterans: $40 + $15 per extra division Kata: $20 per pair
