511 Jura Triathlon

Undoubtedly one of the most photogenic, yet most demanding triathlons in Poland. Its name refers to the Jura’s highest point – the Janowskiego Mountain (511 m above sea level) – and the race base sits at Podzamcze, right at the foot of the majestic ruins of the Ogrodzieniec Castle. It’s a run through a history carved into limestone, and the running route often winds along trails around the monadnonts and ramparts. Finishing at the foot of Ogrodzieniec Castle, amid towering limestone giants, is one of the most spectacular views you’ll see on the finish line. 🏃‍♂️🏰

Exploring Ogrodzieniec Castle: A walk among the ruins is an excellent way to stretch out any soreness. The views from the towers over the Jura panorama calm the weary mind, and the cool walls offer a respite on hot days. 🏰🛡️

Relaxation by the monadnocks: The Jura is a land of picnics. Find a patch of grass at the base of one of the rocks (for example under the Janowskiego Mountain or near the Rzędkowice Rocks) and simply lie back and watch the climbers. It’s natural mindfulness. 🧘‍♂️🧗‍♂️

Physical Experience Park: If you’re with family, there’s an educational park right under the castle. A calm visit and a bit of entertainment are a great way to come back to reality after the race. 🎢🧪
