Le Kalkbrottsloppet offre une occasion rare de courir à l’intérieur de la spectaculaire carrière de calcaire de Limhamn, à Malmö. Le parcours de 5 km combine une descente rapide dans le bassin de la carrière avec des virages serrés, des parois rocheuses abruptes et une montée décisive pour remonter jusqu’au bord, qui met à l’épreuve la force de chaque coureur. Avec environ 120 mètres de dénivelé positif, cette course courte mais exigeante allie vitesse et courage dans un cadre urbain vraiment unique. L'accès exclusif à la réserve naturelle de la carrière confère à cet événement son caractère unique.
