Le marathon de Kenai River est une course d'endurance qui se déroule à Kenai. Organisé par la Chambre de commerce et l'Office du tourisme de Kenai, en partenariat avec la ville de Kenai et des bénévoles, il propose différentes catégories de courses individuelles et par équipe. Les participants récupèrent leur dossard, assistent à un briefing sur le parcours et participent à un repas spaghetti avant l'événement. Une partie des bénéfices est reversée à la Kenai Community Foundation, qui soutient le développement des parcs et des loisirs locaux. Il faut s'inscrire à l'avance, pas d'inscription le jour de la course.
