La Kennedy Kids Foundation organise chaque année la course Kennedy Kids Foundation 5K à l'université Barry de Miami Shores afin de sensibiliser le public à la santé mentale et à la prévention du suicide. Cet événement, inspiré par feu Kennedy Bailey, soutient des initiatives en faveur de la santé mentale et de l'éducation des jeunes. Les participants de tous âges et de tous niveaux peuvent y prendre part, et les résultats sont suivis en temps réel grâce à des puces électroniques. Des prix en espèces sont remis aux meilleurs coureurs et des médailles sont décernées par tranche d'âge. Une célébration après la course comprend des activités communautaires. Les personnes qui ne peuvent pas y assister peuvent participer virtuellement.
