Take on one of the longest and toughest ultra races in Green Island on the Kerry Way. This event offers 200 km with over 5000 m of elevation gain in 40 hours, a start-and-finish loop in Killarney, crossing wild landscapes and the colds of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks under capricious weather. After the effort, discover Killarney National Park with its iconic sites such as Muckross House and Torc Waterfall, then savor a local tasting to recover.

The Kerry Way Ultra is a deadly character-building challenge following the legendary Kerry Way in County Kerry 🏃🍀. Runners must cover the impressive 200 km with over 5000 m of elevation in 40 hours (for those chasing a slightly shorter challenge, there is notably the distance UltraLite ~58 km as well as relay options). The course forms a loop with start and finish in Killarney, traversing wild landscapes, rocky mountain cols in the shadow of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks range, treacherous bogs and the edges of ocean cliffs where Atlantic weather can shift ten times in a single day.
After surviving this exhausting odyssey, the Kerry region offers some of the most beautiful and welcoming corners of Ireland! Head to the Killarney National Park – stroll by the lakes, visit the 19th-century estate Muckross House and explore the Torc Waterfall 🌳🏰, tucked away in a dense forest. Rent a traditional jaunting car (Jaunting Car) with a local guide and travel along the picturesque Dunloe Gap 🐴🏞️, then loop around the entire peninsula via the famous Ring of Kerry scenic drive Ring of Kerry, or opt for the neighboring Dingle Peninsula, with absolutely spectacular views 🌊🏔️.
