Kilimasai ? Oh no, that’s not the name of a Latin dance 💃, or even a cute little Tanzanian critter 🐻‍❄️… But close! It’s the name of the next trail at the edge of the world 🌍 you’re about to run. Yes, yes! It’s in its natural park that the Kilimasai Marathon in August, under a stubborn heat and a dry climate... 🥵 Don’t sulk, we’ve seen you bring tougher energy! 😁 The Wildmarathon Kilimasai, is a trail of 42.195 km in the heart of wild, pristine nature, belonging to this beautiful country that is Tanzania 🇹🇿, at the foot of the Kilimanjaro ⛰️. And if the distance sounds bold to you 🫢, know that the Kilimasai has options for every taste! It can be run as a semi and as a 10 km! "Hakuna Matata, what a fantastic chant !" 🦁 The course consists of 70% dirt trail, with a positive elevation gain of 650 m, you’ll have plenty to work those gorgeous Apollo-like legs 🫠 and rival the local gazelles, not to mention the stone wildlife [lions climbing trees] ? 🐒

Created in 1969 the Kilimasai Wildmarathon of Tanzania, it’s a uniquely human moment 🌟. During this race, the motto is sharing and opening up to the world. If you’d prefer to go solo, we recommend visiting the famous Arusha National Park, just under an hour’s drive away, to discover the richness of the local scenery 🏞️. Relax at the Kikuletwa hot springs ♨️, where you can bathe 🏊‍♂️ in crystal-clear water surrounded by lush vegetation 🌿. Meet up with a couple or family at the village of Mto wa Mbu for a unique and tasty cultural immersion 🤤, thanks to its local markets and artisans.
