La course nocturne de Kolmården est une épreuve de 9 km qui plonge les coureurs dans l'obscurité automnale. Équipés d'une lampe frontale, les participants suivent des sentiers balisés par des panneaux réfléchissants à travers des chemins forestiers étroits et des étendues de terrain non balisées. Ce parcours exigeant offre une atmosphère unique où le silence, les ombres et les lumières vacillantes créent le cadre idéal pour une course nocturne inoubliable.
Le départ et l'arrivée se font à Lillsjöstugan, à Jursla, où un feu de bienvenue attend les participants. Après avoir franchi la ligne d'arrivée, les coureurs se voient servir une soupe chaude aux chanterelles et du pain, ce qui ajoute au caractère unique de l'événement. Avec des catégories hommes et femmes, des prix honorifiques pour les meilleurs coureurs et des prix supplémentaires tirés au sort, la course allie compétition et camaraderie. Il s'agit d'une course de trail réduite à l'essentiel : la nature, l'obscurité et le plaisir de courir.
