How about a short trail at the start of summer in the Hauts-de-France, in La Ferté-Milon in the heart of the Aisne? 🌞 It’s the proposal from the TOP Prixtel Ferté-Milon. On the agenda, lovely trails between fields and forest 🌲, the Ourcq Canal and a stroll through the ruins of the Château 🏰 of La Ferté-Milon. Not just any forest either: the Retz Forest is one of the largest in France... 🐓. The wild setting will be seasoned with wonderful encounters and moments shared in a preserved natural area. This emotionally rich experience can even be shared by two since several formats can be done in duo ! 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 And if you don’t have a teammate or you’re not a big runner, you’ll still find plenty to enjoy thanks to the variety of events offered. Five events of trail running and walking are offered for this race: an “Eco Hike” of 2h ♻, a 6 km discovery trail, an 11 km “The Course” trail 🏃‍♀️, a 22 km nature trail and a nature triathlon trail 💪. A unique feature of this trail? Only duo events and timed! 🔗 All that’s left is to find your teammate and name your team. Additionally, the Eco-Hike 🌱 is a unique event reserved for all the walkers curious. 2 hours of discovery with an agent from the National Forest Office in the famous Retz forest 🌳, finishing on the Château Esplanade, celebration! The event highlights local culture and heritage, very rich 😏. You can already look forward to it: this event aims to be as open as possible. It isn’t a competition, but simply a pure moment of discovery and enjoyment! That’s why it isn’t timed ⏱ (unlike the other distances). It’s also the only distance you can do solo. The 6 km trail is, for example, open to young people from 14 years old. Perfect for sharing a wonderful athletic moment with the family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦.

Another nice value of this event? Solidarity ? A portion of the registration fees goes to an environmental protection association, 1% for the Planet 🌏.

Situated between Paris and Belgiumon the edge of the Hauts-de-France, the Aisne is indeed a department rich in history 📚. Saint-Quentin and Laon, the department’s capital, are the two major towns. Laon, a fortified town, has many medieval monuments and mansions dating from the 16th...
