About this event

La Plagne hosts the Trail 6000D by Dare2B, a 69 km course with 3,400 m of positive elevation gain, solo or relay. From the village of Aime-la-Plagne to the summit of the Bellecôte Glacier (3,047 m), the route passes through iconic Alpine landscapes and the bobsleigh and luge lands of the Olympic Games. A summer race in late July, set in a spectacular mountain backdrop, for mountain sports enthusiasts.

Ready to make your landing on the lands of bobsleigh? 🛷

The meeting point is set around the La Plagne area, between the towns of La Plagne Tarentaise and Mâcot-La-Plagne for a rather unique race: the 6000D by Dare2B. Altitude, at the top of the mountains facing the splendid La Plagne glacier, aims for the gold medal 🥇! Under the spotlight during bob sled and luge events of the Albertville 1992 Winter Olympic Games, this station is surely one of the favored destinations for athletes who enjoy mountain sports 🏔️. La Plagne features eleven resort villages, a real el dorado for winter skiers ⛷️ and for summer hikers 🚶. It also boasts multiple labels: Tourist Town, Large-Scale Resort, New Glides Station, Village Station, Family Plus Mountain but also Nordic Station 🤯. No fear of freezing anything 🥶, the race happens at the end of July under a bright blue sky and under a radiant sun 🌞. What are you waiting for to see life in white? 😉

The Trail 6000D by Dare2B will be your Olympic Games to you 😎. In soloor in relay, you’ll face the challenge of gaining a positive elevation of 3 400 m over a total distance of 69 km. Nothing is impossible when breathtaking landscapes lie along your path! 🤩 And if you’re really chilly, you can bring two teammates for a 3-person relay! 🤝 This route takes you from the village of Aime-la-Plagne down into the valley, to the summit of the Bellecôte Glacier 🗻 which rises to 3 047 m above sea level ⬆️. During your effort, you’ll of course pass by the famous Grande Plagne, then slide into the heart of the Montchavin-les-Côches forest 🌲, finishing closest to the Isère. Before reaching the peak at the top of La Plagne glacier, you’ll traverse a high-caliber marked course, at 95% on trails and footpaths. But if you feel a bit less warm and, despite summer, you’re cooled down 🙄, other races are on the program such as "The 6D Marathon by Dare2B" of 43 km with 2 100 m positive elevation, "The 6D Lakes by Dare2B" : 30 km and 1 500 mD+, "The 6D Ridges by Dare2B" of 21 km and 1 300 mD+, "The 6 Discovery by Dare2B" of 11 km with 600 mD+ and finally "The 6D Foul Run by Dare2B" at 5 km and 250 mD+. If all of this doesn’t make you happy, we don’t know 😅. Oh and for the younger ones The 6D Kid's by Dare2B" (a loop from 500 to 1000 m). If all these events have made your mouth water, the "6 Challenge by Dare2B" lets you run 3 races over a weekend ("6D Marathon", "6D Lakes", "6D Ridges") to accumulate 94 km and 4 900 mD+... And head back knowing La Plagne like the back of your hand! 😂

You’ll be able to recover from your exploits with the wide range of mountain specialties, which you know by ❤️ : croziflette, raclette, diots in red wine... Yes, there’s no season for hearty dishes! 🤤 To digest, what better than a sunlit nap? 🤪 Take advantage of the mountain air to recharge before returning to city routine 🪫—there’s no better way to recover from such a race! 🏃 If you’ve still got some energy, try other thrill-seeking activities like the rafting or canyoning 😝. To end your stay, go higher 📈 and explore the many via ferrata in the area or take to the skies in paragliding 🪂 to soar over the Tarentaise and relive your race from above! 🗺️

Under the cobblestones of La Plagne! 💪
