La Bicentenaire is ideal for you if you enjoy wide open spaces. If it’s a road race, that doesn’t mean nature is forgotten—in fact, the routes are rich and varied. For the occasion, roads are even closed to traffic so you can enjoy it to the fullest. The course hides wonderful discoveries. You’ll be able to gallop like a horse as you pass by the Haras, the must-visit cultural site of the department of the Vendée dedicated to equestrian arts 🐎. After a stop at the Square Bayard in the city center to soak up some light, you’ll discover Napoleon’s Square and its incredible biodiversity. Among the 50,000 flowers and the manmade basins, stands the statue of Napoleon. A source of wind beneath your wings for the rest of your route, protected by the Emperor’s gaze! 🤴
