Run or swim, run or swim, which will you choose? 🤔 Might as well do both ! 🤓 Harmonie Mutuelle has committed to giving you an experience sporting original ! ⚡️ The Harmonie Mutuelle Swimrun in Lyon arrives in May to deliver a genuine experience 🏃♀️. All distances are doable in a format soloor in pairs 👯. If you want to take a challenge that brings people together, here you have a great option ✍️. The Lyon Harmonie Mutuelle Swimrun is part of Eco-health, a movement started by Harmonie Mutuelle inviting everyone to adopt more responsible behaviors and beneficial preventive actions for health.
The concept is simple, run then swim and repeat at least 3 times ! 🤸♂️ It’s a bit like a triathlon, right? Think again! It may look like it, we agree 🫡, but it’s not exactly the same. Here, no transition area 🩱. This means… Yes, you swim in your neoprene wetsuit and you run in your sneakers 👟. Ohh, that’s a wild idea, but at least you save a ton of time ⏱️.
Okay, the concept is clear, now onto the formats ✅. In Lyon, you’ll be at the heart of the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage and 4 distances are offered 📋. We’ll go increscendo, so we start logically with “The Discovery”, which is 6.4 km 📏. If we break it down, in total it’s 5.2 km of running and 1.2 km of swimming ! 🏊 Then, “The Short” offers 11.8 km ✂️. That gives: 9.45 km of running and 2.35 km of swimming 🤓. “The Medium” will be: 23.5 km with 18.2 km running and 5.3 km in the water 🔥. Oh this starts to sting, but it’s not over ! The last distance, with 31 transitions is named: “French Championship”. And it’s the opening round of the swimrun championships 🏆. Oh yes, it’s getting serious! The course is 29.9 km and will be broken down into 23.4 km of runningas well as 6.5 km of swimming 🥵.

It touches on many important topics that concern all of us, without exception ‼️ The Swimrun showcases the practice of physical activity and the importance of physical and mental health 💞. On top of that, the environment is also at the heart of the matter 🍀. Their aim is to produce a day as eco-responsible as possible ♻️.
