The courses are all different and showcase the unique sites of the Luchonais, so you’re sure to find the perfect fit, just like the younger ones who can test themselves on the Trail of the Bear.

The place’s aesthetic power is undeniable, between Lac d’Oô up in the air, snowy peaks, the panorama of the Superbagnères ski station, or the Port of Vénasque at the border with Spain… Each distance lets you enjoy one of these exceptional sites. To truly experience it fully, we recommend returning every year to the Luchon trail and trying the other routes. Sure, you can also take a cable car from Bagnères to save time, but what could be more satisfying than earning this eye-candy happiness after slogging to reach your chosen route the Hourquette col or the Pic de Mulleres beyond the Spanish border ¡¡ Vamos !! 🇪🇸 The return can also be challenging, but once you enter the forest and follow the Pique river (which doesn’t bite the thighs as much as the climb you’ve done), your “Aneto trail” is nearly finished in the arrival town of Bagnères-de-Luchon and its spa town— you’ll hear perhaps at the end the roar of the stag seeking love in the meadow or the cry of the Great Horned Owl from Boulogne (you can call it Hibooba then?) which trains for The Voice but don’t let it distract you and join the finish line on the Parvis of the Thermes de Luchon.
