In Le Creusot, Saône-et-Loire, the Trail des 3 châteaux blends trail running with local heritage discovery at the heart of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Three distances (17 km night version La Petite Traversée Marmagne - Le Creusot, 27 km and 65 km La Grande Traversée Autun - Le Creusot) with up to 2500 m D+ Alternate trails and roads through forests and villages such as Saint-Sernin-du-Bois, then pass by the Château de la Verrerie and finish at the Alto Music and Dance Conservatory.

Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is wooded, bucolic, making it an excellent spot for a trail. See you in March, when nature regains its spring colors and leaves winter behind. Three distances are on the program of the Trail des 3 châteaux: 17 km “La Petite Traversée Marmagne - Le Creusot ” with 500 m D+
The Trail des 3 châteaux you’ll have guessed, is an event that will take you to meet 3 castles. You’ll also be able to enter one of them, not bad right? It’s a winding course where you’ll traverse paths, trails and roads. But that’s not all: there will be streams and waterfalls to admire and cross. You’ll get to discover these buildings from different eras and finish your journey at the 148 steps of the château de la Verrerie which will bring you to the forecourt before finishing your run at the Conservatoire de Musique et de Dance l'Alto! It's never too late to find your artistic talent. 🕺💃
After the race, you’ll have all the time to retrace your steps and soak in the surroundings. And for a tasty finale, the local gastronomy is sure to fuel you up with the jambon persillé and the escargots for starters and the beef bourguignon to fill you up.
Put aside your moats, you can also take a stroll to the dungeon in Dijon to complete your stay in the Côte d'Or department.
