In the North, the Pink October month lights up Landas with La Landasienne inviting everyone to run to fight breast cancer. Offering 5 km and 10 km, the flat course in the Lille countryside promises friendliness and accessibility for all. After the effort, discover the local agricultural vibe ( endives, strawberries, potatoes ) and pass near the Saint-Vaast church; then set off to explore Valenciennes, Douai or the legendary cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix around Landas and Orchies.
In the North, they were the corons, but it’s also about running! During the month of “ October rose ”, La Landasienne brings together everyone who wants to run for fighting breast cancer. Then heading to Hauts-de-France to raise the temperature! 🌡️
In the Lille countryside, about thirty kilometers from the metropolis, La Landasienne invites you to run with joy and good humor. That’s why the organizers offer approachable distances with a 5 km and 10 km. Enjoy, it’s for a good cause more than for the clock! 🙏 In addition, it’s flat and pure joy. On your route, you’ll get a taste of the agriculture tradition of the surroundings. Endives, strawberries, apples from the earth : straight from the producer to your plate! You’ll also have a chance to pass by Saint-Vaast Church dating from the 18th century and wander through the village streets. ⛪
For after the race, you can visit Valenciennes, Douai or explore the famous cobbled streets of Paris-Roubaix, the surroundings of Landas, Orchies in particular, are well known for discovering this piece of Northern legend.
