An adret indeed refers to the hillside that gets the longest sun exposure ☀️. Well done, 1 Million euros, what a candidate! 💸

Now that you know what this word means (you’ll even be able to brag at the coffee machine ☕️ on Monday morning), why not come run in the Adrets Run ? Direction the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the Loire department, to reach the village of Chevrières 📍, nestled in the heart of nature 🏔️. Between exuberant nature 🍃, traditional villages 🏡, castles 🏰 and countless trails, you won’t regret heading to this town just a short distance from Saint-Étienne (23 km away) and Lyon (57 km). On the program, you’ll choose from 3 trail distances: "Short" of 5.44 km", "Medium" of 9.84 km and finally "Long" of 20.48 km. The organizers have everything covered, distances are accessible to all levels 🔝. Whether you’re a beginner, an occasional runner, or a seasoned trail runner, you’ll surely find a trail to suit you 👟. Plus, the race takes place in mid-June, for the Fête de la Musique ! 🎵 What better than a festive vibe 🎉, complemented by ideal weather 🌤️ to discover the beauties of the Loire ! 😎

Let’s get to the heart of it with a course description. The organizers offer you three loops that start and finish at La Bruyère Hamlet, within the Élevages des Adrets, a stable that raises Irish Cob horses 🐎. Quirky race vibes, right? You’ll tackle most of the roads even though we don’t exclude a few on the tarmac 🛣️.

Beyond a wild and exciting course, the atmosphere and the activities planned by the organizers will definitely make you fall in love with the event (and the region) 😍. Staying with the theme, nature 🌱 of the race, there will be a space dedicated to local producers! 👨🏻‍🌾 The chance to discover their crafts and products 🍎. For beer lovers 🍺, a local brewer will also be on site 😁. In addition to a dive into the local culture, you’ll even get a chance to stretch your legs again at the musical evening 🕺🏼. So brush up your rock moves... With just a few days to the Fête de la Musique, this will be a great warm-up 😬.

For visits, after the race, take the chance to explore the Loire gorges, it’s the best time of year!
