Millet Manigod Trail Challenge

Craving a sporting challenge in the heart of nature? 🌲 Take part in the Millet Manigod Trail Challenge for its second edition! 🏅 This trail will take place in the stunning commune of Manigod, in Haute-Savoie, at the heart of the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes 🏃‍♂️. We’re meeting for original races right in the middle of one of the most splendid ranges of the French Alps: the Aravis massif 🤩.

Alright, now you’re probably wondering what they have in store, and it’s simple: they offer 4 mountain races ⛰️: the Trail du Dahu, 10 km but also the Moonlight Trail (new in 2025!) on the trails above the Manigod ski resort ⛷️, you might just meet the legendary Dahu! 🐐 Otherwise there’s the Manigodine, we’re extending a bit with 18 km that will take you to the top of the Pointe d’Orsière. We start the serious stuff with the legendary Skyrace du Charvin, 27 km where you’ll discover the lac du Charvin 🏞️ and for thrill-seekers, the Kilometer Vertical is the perfect challenge: 2,9 km, surely the most intense of your life, as the name suggests this will be a dive into the steep 🧗‍♀️, up to the summit of Pointe de Merdassier! Emotions guaranteed! 🤘 In addition to these 4 excellent races, two formats are offered for more fun! 🔥 The Duo du Charvin, the 27 km of the Skyrace to be completed as a duo, and the Aravis Sky Pursuit of 29.9 km. Split over (kilometer vertical and skyrace) this trail will satisfy your endurance and exploration cravings! 🎒

Honestly, what adds real charm is the setting. The Aravis massif is something special, Aravis means “ancestors” 📜. It’s a compound word built from Celtic roots –avo meaning “grandparents” and Are- meaning “in front.” A bit of culture never hurts 😌. Anyway, perched up on its peaks you’ll get to admire the region from top to bottom, and that’s a real privilege 🌟.

After the race, don’t hesitate to enjoy the region, relax, and make unforgettable memories. The town of Annecy, with its lake and old town 🎿, is only about an hour’s drive away. Why not take a dip in this beautiful lake? 🏊‍♀️ You can also visit the Mont Blanc, the roof of Europe, or enjoy a day of relaxation in the Saint-Gervais Thermes 🏔️.
