About this event

Get ready for the Paris-Roubaix Challenge in Roubaix, a cobbled ride where the spirit of competition meets legendary vibes. Three distances (70, 145 and 170 km) take you through iconic sectors like the Arenberg Forest and the Carrefour de l’Arbre, before finishing at the Roubaix Velodrome. With open-road riding, join an international community ready to suffer together and savor the mythical finish on site.

"Hell of the North ?? This race is making me wanna go for it..." 😨

Strap on your helmet and brace your lower back, because we’re not talking about a simple Sunday hike, but a pilgrimage to the land of chosen suffering! 🧱 The Paris-Roubaix Challenge, it's your chance to rub shoulders with the best, because your start is just a few hours before the pro cyclists 💥. It’s a bit like getting to rap on a ballon right before the World Cup final, except here, the grass is replaced by granite blocks laid out by a giant who clearly had a score to settle with the cyclists. 👹.

The distance options come in three choices: 70 km, 145 km or 170 km 🥵. If you choose the long route, you’ll experience the full package. You’ll discover the Trouée d'Arenberg, a 2,300-meter stretch cut straight through the forest. For a bit of history, it’s where Jean Stablinski, a former miner turned World Champion, suggested this passage to the organizers in 1968 💡. He used to take this route to work, and frankly, it shakes things up! 😂 As soon as you arrive at this road, in 1968, the peloton crashes, rain rolls in, and the situation becomes hellish: the DNFs piled up 🥴. Only twenty riders crossed the Roubaix finish line! 😦 Don’t worry, on this legendary course you won’t be alone: fans from all over the world come to suffer together 🥵. You’ll also pass by the Carrefour de l'Arbre, a 5-star级 sector (the cycling equivalent of “run for your lives, fools!”) 😵‍💫. But remember: you’re on open roads. So if you meet a tractor or a truck, please don’t try to draft, respect the traffic laws 😉. And why go through all this? For the ultimate grail: entry into the Roubaix Velodrome 🏁. Picture the scene: you arrive with dust in your teeth, arms trembling as if you’d spent the day hammering, but you set your tires on this mythical concrete 🤩. Historically, that’s where mud-splattered riders would plunge into the famous stone showers (which you might glimpse!) 🧼.

And after that, what’s next? You can wander through the historic streets of Lille and visit the Grand'Place 🏛️, the Vieux-Lille or the Palais des Beaux-Arts 🎭. We recommend exploring The Piscine Museum of Roubaix, a former public bath turned into an art and industry museum 🏭. For a nature break, opt for the magic of the Opal Coast, with its stunning beaches and impressive cliffs 🌊.

So, ready to get rattled by the pavé? 🫨
