Meet in Mâlain, Côte-d’Or, for the Trail des Sorcières in November. Two distances await you: La Harpie (12 km) and La Nécromancienne (25 km), with a positive elevation gain of 450 m and sections through muddy forest around Roche Aigüe. Come running dressed as a witch and enjoy the autumn colors and unbeatable views of the valley before arriving in Mâlain.
Meet in Mâlain, Côte-d’Or, in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The town welcomes you in November for its annual trail: the Trail des Sorcières 🧙♀️. In November, in Mâlain, temperatures are cool, very cool. So be smart and remember to bring warm clothing 😉 ! Also, with Halloween 🎃 coming up, you can run dressed up, as a witch is even better. On the program, two distancesThe Harpy" of 12 km and "The Necromancer" of 25 km.
Your start is in the town of Mâlain. If you do the 12 km, you’ll do the Mont Chauvin loop. You’ll climb a positive elevation of 450 m, that’s no small feat! If you chose the 26 km, a quick tour around town and you’ll quickly reach the Roche Aigüe forest 🌲. Whatever race you pick, you’ll be running for a long while through forest on trails and paths, sometimes muddy (thanks to the mischievous rain)！Running will warm you up if temperatures are too low. You’ll also pass through fields, sometimes damp. At the top of the hills you’ll climb (yes, this is not a peaceful trail), you’ll have an breathtaking view over the valley 🤩. From there, you’ll admire the autumn colors of the trees with their orange and yellow leaves 🍁. Then you’ll descend back toward the finish in Mâlain.
Haven’t seen enough beautiful sights during the race? Then take a trip to Dijon. The medieval city 🏰 is only about twenty-some kilometers from MâlainThe awaits you. There you can taste the Dijon mustard (if you haven’t already) as well as the great wines 🍷, straight from the great Alsatian vineyards. 🍇
