La Parisienne

Since 1997, the Parisienne has been a standout event in the Paris and Île-de-France running calendar. Exclusively for women, this event is a highlight of conviviality spread over 3 days in September, continuously attracting more entrants, to the point that it has become the largest women-only race in Europe. To top it off, it takes place during an ideal time to run, with mild but not oppressive temperatures. 😎

The race "the Parisienne" offers multiple distances (10 km, 7 km and a 5 km walk), and it's also possible to join the company challenge to run with your colleagues. The course is a true postcard of the capital's iconic spots. After the starter pistol at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, it’s off for a loop that lets you run along the Champs-Élysées for 1 km, pass by Palais de Tokyo, Les Invalides, Le Grand Palais, the banks of the Seine, Pont Alexandre III before crossing the finish line at the Champs de Mars. Spectacular monuments galore, it’s one of those schedules you’d expect: 👌

The Parisienne, it’s much more than a race: it’s a symbol of running culture, a privileged moment of "girl power" that lights up the capital for an entire weekend. Various activities are offered, such as a massive yoga session on the Champs de Mars, and fitness classes, all in a festive atmosphere with street performers and food trucks. And to pace your stride, a music group is stationed every 250m, for a total of 1200 musicians 🎷. To amp up the fun, each edition has a theme (Caribbean, New York, Wild West). It’s this explosive mix that makes the event so appealing: in nearly 25 years of existence, the number of participants has grown from 1500 to more than … 30,000 (yes, 30,000 indeed!!)
