Want an accessible and festive run in Le Plessis-Robinson (Hauts-de-Seine)? Three distances await you: 5 km, 10 km, and a 1.5 km Family Run, with a redesigned course winding through the town center and Parc Henri Sellier. After the start, enjoy a view of the Sceaux estate and take part in a car-free event before returning with your medal around your neck.
Tel Robinson Crusoé, part to the adventure of La Robinsonnaise! 😎 Well, just to reassure you right away, you won’t need a compass or a spear to survive in Le Plessis-Robinson, in the Hauts-de-Seine 😂. You’ll simply need your legs and a lot of motivation to conquer your challenge! 💪 With the June sun, you’ll be able to pull out your speed goggles and try to shave minutes off the clock ⏱️. Between downtown asphalt 🛣️ and the park’s fresh greenery 🌳, La Robinsonnaise only has good surprises in store for you! ⬇️
Three distances are offered to tempt the most adventurous : a 5 km and a 10 km, plus a "Family Run" of 1.5 km 🧑🧑🧒, so the whole clan can come and test the course of La Robinsonnaise! And what a route! 🤩 This year, to celebrate the 27th edition, organizers have redesigned the course on the map of Plessis-Robinson to pass runners through the heart of the town 🏙️. Yes indeed, no traffic during the race, so you’ll need to shift into high gear to try and trigger the city’s speed cameras 🏃♂️. After your sprint start, you’ll crave a big breath of fresh air 💨, so head to the Parc Henri Sellier to recharge your batteries 🔋. Remember to look around you as you’ll get a panoramic view of the entire domaine de Sceaux and the southeast of the Île-de-France region 😍.
Once your Plessis adventure is over, wander the surroundings with your medal around your neck! 🥇 To learn a bit more about the city you just ran through, there are heritage trails on offer 🤓. In addition to becoming an almanac of the history of Plessis Robinson, you’ll be able to stretch your sore legs 🦵. A former rural village, it still bears the marks of its past, especially with its various garden-cities 🌿, from the 20s-era low city to the modern garden-city landscape of the 2000s 💐. To end your weekend in style, if you stop at a guinguette for a bite? 🍽️ Here, no room for dieting: croque-monsieur, Brie de Meaux 🧀, Paris-Brest or Saint-Honoré... 🤤 You’ll have plenty to refuel! 😋
