Les Trails de la Factrice

Posties are known for roaming our countryside on their bikes 🚴‍♀️, but did you know they also run a lot? 🏃 In the Hérault, the mail ladies 📬 literally do trail races: The municipality of Roquebrun invites you on June 8 and 9, 2024 to take part in 5 trails that will undoubtedly delight finishers from all horizons.

We dive straight into the deep end with L’Epineuse, which lives up to its name with its 110 km of distance and its 5 800 mD+. Reserved for the bravest, especially since the start is at 5am 🤯. For those who roll out of bed a bit later, the 68 km of the Bête noire seems like a good challenge. And for those who like to take their time, the Roquebrunette starts at 6pm and offers 7.5 km of fun in the town of Roquebrun. A great way to explore the town while pushing yourself! 😉 The next day is the showcase event 👑: the Trail de la Factrice starts at 7am and lasts 33 km. It is followed by the Roquebrune, half as long and which wraps up the weekend in style.

The main advantage of this course is the breathtaking view it offers over the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc 👀. It’s a chance to catch a big breath of fresh air and observe the diverse wildlife that calls the region home. The friendly race atmosphere will make everyone feel good. A chance to make friends and meet up around a Roque-brune beer! 🍻 Once you finish your race, don’t hesitate to head to the vignobles to sample the various wines 🍷 of the region.
