La Compiégnoise

The mission presented to you today, should you choose to accept it, is to head to Compiègne“Pink October” to come and give cancer a run for its money. This charitable race will not only let you contribute to saving lives, but also discover unique landscapes and leave with indelible memories in Hauts-de-France. In addition to showcasing your superpowers in one of the largest forests in France, you’ll uncover the secrets of this town located northeast of Paris, nicknamed the Imperial City. Put on your pink cape and we’re off! 🏃

This road race takes place both in the city and in the forest and the program is stress-free, with two “fun” races that only want to see smiles: The Run 2 B over 5 kmand the Compiègnoise over 10 km. And to savor the atmosphere even longer, two walks of 5 km and 10 km are also planned!

Every year, this race in Compiègne brings together thousands of runners to shout, sing and cheer on the fight against breast cancer. It’s a chance to discover or rediscover this beautiful town, passing several times over the “Oise,” wandering through the very Oise river, wandering through the charming streets of its center, and getting a little lost (we’re joking, it will be well-marked) in the forestforest of Compiègne. You’ll have the chance to pass by the Hippodrome, which will make you feel faster than the greatest racehorses! It’s all about a convivial and festive spirit that this race was designed with 🎉. To give you even more energy, spectators will be numerous, as well as music groups who will raise their voices and instruments to pace your strides further. 🥁

Then, once your challenge is accomplished, hurry to visit the majestic Château de Compiègne located just near the Saint-Jacques Church. Next, as we know getting moving can work up an appetite, we suggest trying the local specialty: the famous Picantins de Compiègne, these chocolates that are worldwide renowned, even all the way to… Australia, you imagine! 😁
