La Savernoise

It’s a charity race organized by the event organizers of La Savernoise! A gathering in honor of women who fight breast cancer 👯‍♀️. The mission is simple: help in the fight against this scourge.

As the name suggests, you’ll start in Saverne in the Bas-Rhin in October, under the cool late-afternoon temperatures. Yes, it’s a nighttime road race you’re about to discover. Come along to the Grand East and join in fully rose-tinted as you step onto Saverne’s streets! 🎀

This event offers you the option to run 5 km or take a walk of 5 km open to everyone. And yes, it’s together that we fight this disease, and it’s no small claim since thousands of participants gather each year to run and support breast cancer research 💪. Your route through the town of Saverne will let you admire a city with a rich historical heritage with medieval walls, Roman ruins and a romanesque church remarkable ⛪. All of this to encourage you to give your all.

You’re guaranteed you won’t be bored with, to start, a thunderous warm-up as well as a friendly and festive atmosphere throughout your race 🥳! Supporting the cause is important, so there will be musicians, performers and dancers to pump up the rhythm. 🥁

All funds raised from this charity race in Savernes are donated to the fight against breast cancer, more specifically to the Paul Strauss Center and the Sainte-Catherine hospital center 🏥. Acting at your level is possible!

Then, after kicking off your sporty weekend in style, we suggest you explore the Parc Naturel Régional des Vosges and its curious Rocher de Dabo from which you can behold stunning panoramas.
