La Strasbourgeoise, it's the charity race that brings together the most participants in the iconic city of Bas-Rhin and the capital of Grand Est: Starsbourg. You can choose between a road race and a Nordic walk, both following the same course of 5 km. Pick your cruising speed and ride the wave of pink that has been rolling since 2010 (the year the phenomenon Waka Waka).

Speaking of music, you can don your best costume and party—there are musical activities all along the route 🎵 . Even the first autumn showers in October can’t deter you from enjoying the festive atmosphere of the event. Fun and exercise for a good cause pretty much sums up what the organizers offer. Yes, because the race aims to raise awareness and promote breast cancer screening. A portion of the registration fee goes to the cause. And it’s perfect, because exercising is also great for health 👩🏼‍⚕️ !

More than ever, the goal is to participate and have a great time. The route is short, simple, basic. No need to go up and down every which way—the terrain is flat and wide. You’ll pass through iconic streets of the capital of Europe and you’ll be able to admire this architecture that made Strasbourg famous. You’ll also have an unobstructed view of the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral of Strasbourg which will be with you throughout your effort ⛪ .

The reasons for this success are simple: a beautifully crafted program and a cause that brings together and mobilizes a large number of people. The rest of your day is thus all set. You can either take a stroll through the art exhibition 🎨, open to the public, organized by the event, or wander around the city. You can take a break by devouring a delicious tarte flambée accompanied by a small glass of vin blanc du coin, the Kougelhopf.
