In March, the Agglo City Run offers you an urban experience between Annecy and Argonay, with four distances: 12.2 km and 16 km on roads, plus the Nordic and Super Nordic Agglo formats. The course runs through the heart of Annecy and towns like Cran-Gevrier, Meythet and Seynod, mixing roads, gravel, and unusual sections (stairs, underground passages). Open to all levels, this urban race promises a sporty Savoyard atmosphere at the finish.
Running in the city, is it really a thrill? With the Agglo City Run we say YES! It’s in March that you’ll run from Annecy to Argonay. That’s when the vibe heats up but the temperatures stay cool, so bundle up! Come on mate, come discover a new episode of Run & the City! 📽️
These are 4 distances offered by the organizers of this event: “ the Agglo City Run” 12,2 km and “ The Super Agglo” and its 16 km are road races, while “ la Super Nordic Agglo” of 16 km and “ the Nordic Agglo” 12,2 km are Nordic walking as you guessed. 😉
It’s in the heart of the city Annecy that you’ll run, but not only: you’ll cross many municipalities. If you opt for the 11.7 km, it’s the Fier that you’ll follow first before veering toward Cran-Gevrier and Meythet, heading for the lake ! If you chose the 16 km, you’ll continue your journey a bit after sharing the same start as the shorter distance. Onward to Seynod and the Visitation for the final kilometers. 🏃
Know that you won’t just run on paved roads during this urban challenge. Nearly half the course will be on gravel: watch your ankles and joints! Also on the lineup: some trails and unusual places to traverse like stairs and underground passages.
The AggloCity Run is a true urban race, suitable for all runners, even beginners. If you’re seasoned, don’t hesitate to push the clock! ⏱️
At the end of the race, a mandatory stop in Annecy, a city to discover again and again, just like the savoyard specialties ! Even if we’ve tasted them, we always want more, and if you haven’t yet but… what are you waiting for?! ☺️
