Come on runners, you’ve got the vibe, sneakers on for one last challenge before summer, we’re taking you to Vanves ! From the other side of the ring road in the Hauts-de-Seine department, La Vanvéenne can still boast of being an event that’s both sporting, festive, family, friendly and historic 👨‍👩‍👧. Indeed, this race was born in 2003 on the foundations of the Vanves International Cross and the Cross des As, so you can tell it has seen many world-class athletics names! 20 years later, no fewer than 1000 participants still gather each year to tread on Vanves soil! And are you in?

You’ll surely be won over by the different city courses on offer, which let you discover the must-see spots of the commune: the Parc des Sports André Roche, the Parc Frédéric-Pic 🏞, the Saint-Rémy Church ⛪️ or the Michelet High School! Everyone has their own distance: adults with a 5 km and a 10 km, and the younger crowd with a 1.2 km and a 2.2 km. A 3.3 km hike is even on the agenda! In any case, it’s the perfect opportunity to discover Vanves in June ☀️, come break a record or challenge friends, family and yourself! All in a buzz of excitement, because yes, organizers have lined up top-notch activities! 🎉

And if La Vanvéenne will impress you, know that it’s also a big-hearted race ❤️. It supports the Association Du Sport et Plus, and it’s therefore only natural that funds raised during the event help provide equipment and toys to the pediatric department of the Antoine Béclère Hospital in Clamart 🏨. Fraternity, solidarity, and mutual aid abound in Vanves!

Feeling a little peckish after your race? Don’t worry, the organizers of La Vanvéenne have you covered! Several stands will be on-site to hush the growling in your belly 🤐. And if you still have room after your feast, how about biting into a delicious croissant of the 92 🥐? Wide green spaces like the Parc de Bois‑Préau, or the Domaine de Chamarande, topped with castles such as Versailles, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Fontainebleau (or even that of Disneyland) 🏰, and finally a sprinkle of skyscrapers dusted with museums 🖼 for a tasty after-work treat! 😋
