Le semi-marathon Swamp Stomp et la course ludique d'1 mile, organisés par les Lake Area Runners, se déroulent au Graywood Park à Lake Charles, en Louisiane. Le semi-marathon se déroule sur un parcours plat à travers la communauté de Graywood Plantation et est ouvert aux participants âgés d'au moins 14 ans. Les deux événements proposent des points de ravitaillement en eau, des installations sur le parcours et des festivités après la course, notamment de la nourriture, des rafraîchissements, des jeux et de la musique. Des récompenses sont remises aux meilleurs coureurs et tous les participants reçoivent une médaille. Les participants inscrits reçoivent un t-shirt de performance et les coureurs du semi-marathon qui remplissent les critères reçoivent une veste.
