You’re not doing anything for the Labor Day? 🤔 That's totally normal, and we understand! 😂 But to celebrate properly, why not head to the sun-drenched streets of Carcassonne? 😎 In the heart of the fortified city and rich in history, you can take part in the Trail des Remparts ! 🏰 On this first day of May 🗓️, you’ll start at the second edition of this event, to highlight the heritage and showcase the new tour on the Carcassonne ramparts 🤓. This site is still listed as a UNESCO World Heritage, it would be a shame to miss it! 🤩

Plus, this race is accessible to everyone! Here’s the rundown 😉. You’ll find the signature concept, where no mileage is announced at the start! ⏱️ Indeed, the original version of the Trail des Remparts is a race by time! ⌚ The "Defi des Remparts" is a loop to be completed as many times as possible in 2h or 4h ⏳. Or, you can choose ease and stick to a classic format: a single loop of 10 km of trail to complete in one go 💪. Classic, but timeless! And the little twist of this event is that you can share the effort: the "Defi des Remparts" is doable in a team 😝. The 2h format is available solo or in a 2-person relay! For the longer version (lasting 4 hours 🤯), it’s the same idea, but there’s also a 4-person relay.🥳 If you were hesitating to go solo, there are no excuses now—because teamwork is what makes it happen! 🚀

One thing’s for sure: don’t forget to charge your watch before you head out! 🔋 By the way, if you want to add a touch of medieval magic to this adventure 🏇, you can attempt the night edition 🌖, armed with your headlamp! 🔦 Perched on the ramparts, you’ll get a view over the city and the surrounding nature! 🌳 But that’s not all! Because yes, by lacing up your sneakers 👟, you’re supporting a charitable cause! 🥰 By taking part in one or the other of these races, you contribute to the preservation of an exceptional monument: a portion of the registration fees will be donated to the Centre des Monuments Nationaux ! 🖼️
