Le Grizz est un ultramarathon destiné aux athlètes à la recherche d'un parcours pittoresque et exigeant à proximité du parc national de Glacier, dans le Montana. Le parcours sur route en gravier longe la North Fork de la rivière Flathead, offrant des vues saisissantes sur les Rocheuses du Nord et les couleurs chatoyantes des peupliers faux-trembles et des mélèzes. La course commence et se termine au Big Creek Outdoor Education Center du Glacier Institute. Elle se déroule selon un format aller-retour avec un détour obligatoire vers le point de ravitaillement de Polebridge Mercantile. Grâce à son dénivelé cumulé et à son profil adapté aux coureurs, cet événement reste accessible aux coureurs d'ultramarathon débutants tout en mettant à l'épreuve les athlètes d'endurance chevronnés. Le Grizz propose également des courses de 15 km et 5 km, idéales pour renforcer l'esprit d'équipe ou se dégourdir les jambes lors d'une journée de repos. Chaque distance offre aux athlètes de tous niveaux l'occasion de s'immerger dans la communauté locale de coureurs, de s'attaquer à des terrains variés et de vivre une expérience mémorable le jour de la course.
