November becomes magical in Bussus-Bussuel! 🪄

Forget the pavement, here it’s the trails that lead the way ✨. The Trail of the Goblins takes you on a magical night in the Somme, in the Hauts-de-France region 🇫🇷. Between mischievous roots 😈, glowing clearings 💡 and climbs that look like they were drawn by mischievous fairies 🤫, you won’t know where to point your head headlamp 🔦.

As a trail goblin, you’ll need a strong heart to tackle one of the offered distances 💪: "Le Périple" of 18.5 km or "L'Échappée" of 12.5 km, you must not quit ❌. In the glow of the headlamps, nature becomes a fantastic playground and insects turn into tiny fairies 🧚. We’re almost expecting to spot a laughing goblin behind a mossy trunk 🪵, or hear the faint tinkle of bells in the undergrowth 🌳. But don’t let this enchantment distract you: the course will push your legs to the limit 🥵. However, if you don’t want your heart to rise above 160 bpm 🫀, you can also join the "La Balade" walking version of 8 km

To extend this mystic weekend, head out to explore the region! 🤓 Not far from Bussus-Bussuel, you’ll find the town of Abbeville 🏘️. Strolling around (you’ll want to stretch your goblin legs 🦵), you’ll discover many historic monuments such as the Collegiate Church of Saint-Vulfran ⛪️ or the Bagatelle Castle 🏰. If you want to go a bit further, you’ll find the Baie de Somme Picardie Maritime Regional Natural Park (you can catch your breath 💨), a haven of nature preserved from human activity 🤗. To recharge after all these activities, enjoy a soupe des Hortillons with a flamiche aux poireaux 🥧 and a gâteau battu for dessert 🍮.
