The Raid of the Archangel is a true adventure humane, achievable in solo or in a team of up to 3. It is done in total autonomy, in a period fairly pleasant in terms of weather since June is relatively mild in this part of France 😁.

An exceptional race, with a start of the same caliber. The starter pistol is fired at the Mont Saint-Michel, under the watch of the statue of the archangel slaying the dragon atop the monument. The distance of 300 kilometers is completed in 4 stagesand it’s you who manages everything: your nutrition and your direction. The route isn’t marked, so you must read and understand your compass 🧭 ! The headlamp is obviously required for this challenge as you’ll likely be running at night 🔦. Nature is waiting for you, with landscapes that naturally change. Soon you’ll traverse the GR223 trails, a long-distance path linking Honfleur to Mont Saint-Michel, and they’ll hold no secrets for you! The Raid of the Archangel, it’s a battle of every moment, with incredible passages even onto the mythical Norman beaches. You’ll be your own guide to reach the finish. Overcoming yourself is the watchword. It will be up to you to show that you know how to manage your time, your food, your efforts, and the twists of the course. Everything is there for your warrior spirit to shine through because it’s not only physical, it’s mental 💪.

The finish is in La Hague, in the Cotentin, and after such a surge of energy, the Normandy will reward you among the cheeses and the vegetables of the region. To stroll and recover well, the Cotentin peninsula and of course the Mont Saint-Michel, one of France’s treasures, are must-sees 🏰. Never will you savor your post-race as much.
