In the Saint-Offenge-Dessus forest, in Savoie (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), the Saint Off en Trail takes place in October with a varied lineup: 8.5 km Updown in the dark, 10 km La Petite Marche des Ruisseaux, 12 km La Marche des Ruisseaux, 10 km Speed Trail des Coteaux, 17 km Le Trail des Coteaux and 34 km Le Trail des Crêts de Bange, solo, duo or canitrail. A course mixing trails, fallen leaves and ridges for a breathtaking view over the valley. Enjoy Savoyard specialties afterward, and, if you fancy, a canoraft descent in the Bauges.
Welcome to Saint-Offenge-Dessus, in Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The town welcomes you to its annual trail: the Saint Off in Trail. The event takes place in October, so the weather should be nice. Still, bring a warm layer just in case the weather turns 😬. And if it does, we’re sure a warrior like you will power through! For distances, there’s plenty to choose from. You’ve got 2 Nordic walks, called: "La Petite Marche des Ruisseaux" of 10 km and "La Marche des Ruisseaux" of 12 km. You also have La "Updown" of 8.5 km, (this race is a night trail, so remember to bring your flashlight 🔦), Le Speed Trail des Coteaux" of 10 km, "Le Trail des Coteaux" of 17 km, to be done solo, in duo, or in canitrail, and "Le Trail des Crêts de Bange" of 34 km. Phew, there are so many options it’s hard to choose. The ball is in your court, pick your adventure!
Whatever distance you decide to tackle, the forest 🌲 will be the watchword of your journey. Along your route you’ll traverse through numerous forests
What better way to end a great trail than with a good meal? In Savoie, there is plenty to choose from! For a main course, we suggest a tartiflette, a raclette or the farcement, a traditional Sunday dish. For dessert, we recommend Savoy cheeses or Savoy cake 🍰. This cake is particularly light, perfect for Finishers like you. 👌
After the meal, want a little more thrill to digest? 😁 If you’re craving more excitement, we recommend a canoraft descent in the canoraft, in the Massif des Baugeswhich is about ten kilometers from Saint-Offenge.
