About this event
This spring, head to Mouthier-Haute-Pierre (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté) for the Trail’N’Loue, a trail run near the Swiss border. Four distances to choose from: 10, 18, 32 and 35 km with elevation gain (D+) ranging from 500 m to 2000 m, crossing orchards, ridges and gorges, up to the source of the Loue and the landscapes of Lods. Weekend options available with 53 or 67 km and 2800/3700 m D+.
Burgundy-Franche-Comté is all about the Doubs! So in April, head to Mouthier-Haute-Pierre to take part in the Trail’N’Loue, a trail near the Swiss border where nature invites you to fill your lungs at the start of spring 😇.
On the event program, 4 distances : 10 km, 18 km, 32 km, 35 km. The 600 Years of 10 km with a positive elevation gain of 500m D+ will offer you the chance to run amid the orchards of Mouthier-Haute-Pierre up to Lods, a small traditional village with its washhouses and stairs, passing through the Hautepierre ridges. The Trail des Sources of 18 km and 800m D+ consists of a climb on the ridges, forest sections and a descent to the Aiguillons-de-Brasse known for its technical challenge ⚠️. You’ll also have the pleasure of zooming along paths to the source of the Loue and discover the gorges of Noailles and the rocks at the source of the Pontet 🪨. The Trail du Moine of 32 km and 1700m D+ reopens the beginning of the Trail des Sources, adding another 13 km loop with a wild, steep climb to the Monks, ridges with climbs to reach Longeville and the descent toward Lods before tackling a rise at Sucrue and finishing your journey with a final descent between the walls to enjoy the valley with a stunning view 🤩. Finally, L'Origine du Monde, a 35 km with a positive elevation gain of 2000m. You’ll also have the option to link the two days by choosing either 53 km or 67 km with respective gains of 2800m and 3700m.
After the race, you can enjoy panoramic views over the Poupet and the whole valley, and also visit Lods, a listed village. For gastronomy, the veal scallop of Franche-Comté, the comté and Pontarlier anise will refresh you 😜.
