The Rossignol Trail des Gets invites runners of all levels to push themselves in the Chablais massif, in Les Gets. Three trail distances (11, 21 and 42 km) and a 2 km vertical race with 380 m of elevation gain offer a varied mountain challenge, with views over the valley of Aulp s and the Roc d’Enfer. From alpine pastures to hamlets, the course promises a rich mountainous setting and local specialties to discover.
The Trail des Gets, it's the perfect place to push yourself or recharge in a natural setting, in the heart of the Chablais Massif ⛰. Come on, let’s go, we’ll take you for a tour to the Gets, located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in the Haute-Savoie department!
Passionate about mountain running or a complete beginner? Don’t worry, there is something for everyone. The program offers three trail distances: 11 km, 21 km or 42 km, to suit everyone 😜 ! And if that’s not enough, you can also challenge yourself with a Vertical Race ⬆️: a 2 km course with 380 m of positive elevation gain, to be completed as many times as possible in 4 hours maximum 🥵.
It takes place in a mountainous setting that's very diverse. Depending on the distance you choose, you’ll have the chance to cross alpine meadows alpages or quaint hamlets filled with traditional chalets 🏡, all with views of the Valley of Aulps or the Mont Blanc range. If you opt for the longest distance, you can circumnavigate the imposing Roc d'Enfer, one of the highest peaks in the Chablais Massif.
And while you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to taste the Haute-Savoie specialties and visit local artisans. What could be better than visiting a fruitière to discover all the secrets of making the cheeses you love to taste 😎 ?
