Off to the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in the Yonne department, for a trail that has meaning: The Trail of the Great Sénonais. In the heart of June, you’ll experience a unique ☝🏼 while tracing the steps of great stories. Yes, you’ll have the privilege to run in a historically significant place of the Megalithic era to the World War II 🪖, which witnessed the Hundred Years' War and the wars of religion. If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming an irreducible Gaul 🐗, this is the moment to come walk or run in the traces 👣 of the famed chief of the Sénons, Brennus. 🗡️

To become the greatest Gaul, or rather, one of the finishers, you’ll have to face one of these. 2 Hikes / Nordic Walks of 12km and 20km. 3 Trails of 12km, 20km and 40km as well as a new format 🆕 Trail Ultra of 100km, which you can do in solo 👤 or duo 👥 or in trio 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾. Take your time choosing— you don’t want to set off in contreSens ↩️ ! For the younger Sénons, 3 races are meant for them 👦🏼. As if the event didn’t have enough to offer, the TGS will have ambassadors Dachhiri-Dawa Sherpa and Vincent Delabarre : no need to introduce these two trail legends? Your eyes are starting to glisten 🤩 and legs warming up 🔥 huh, perfect ! 😌

The routes will traverse municipal trail paths and the great hiking trail (GR) through about twenty-some communes, as well as portions of private paths opened exclusively on race day 😮. So expect a perfect setting to complete two hikes / Nordic walks of 12 and 20km offered to you. These two distances are also available as a trail, under the name of Sens’as (12km for 120mD+) and the Petit Sénon (20km for 270mD+). These circuits are accessible to everyone no time limit 😁. For the Lyonne of 40km including 1100mD+, you’ll need training of a champion 🏆 and a true capacity for self-sufficiency to stay within the time limits (7h) ⏱️. All starts for these events will depart from the Roger Breton Sports Complex 🏟️ while the start times for the Brennus for 100km will begin from the parvis of the Saint-Étienne Cathedral of Sens ✝️. It is the first church of the Gothic architecture of Christianity and houses an impressive number of stained glass windows from the Renaissance, which are true jewels for the eyes 👁️. History aside, this Trail Ultra is the flagship event of the event due to its distance, but also its format, open to relay duo 🔗 and trio 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾. The maximum time to be classified for the race is set at 24h for the solo and 22h TPC for the duos and trios, but nothing to do with taxes here 💸.
