But the landscapes will know how to thank you, you’ll be treated to eye candy throughout this race! 🤩
By the way, The Cimes du Mercantour are part of a great challenge called the "Challenge Granfondo 06" 🤠. It’s a challenge that brings together seven road cycling races in the department of Alpes Maritimes, and this year it will mark its ninth anniversary 🕯️. To celebrate this ninth edition, organizers have added a little novelty called the Granfondo Fostau Copi 🥳. It’s a race held in Italy and it’s the first time the organizers have decided to cross the border! 🇮🇹 A new dimension, more international, to this great challenge 🍝.
Let’s go 🤌, let’s get serious and talk about the routes. The Cimes du Mercantour offer a distance of 112 km and 2 800 mD+ 😱. The start and finish of the race will be from the charming town of Breil-sur-Roya! ❤️ Riders will pass through stunning spots like the Col de Brouis which peaks at 900 meters above sea level and offers breathtaking panoramas! 🏞️ It’s an immersion into the Mercantour Valley
If you’re not ready to end the adventure, as our dear Denis Brogniart 📺, you can keep the fun going by exploring the surroundings—trust us, it’s worth it 👌. Grab your sunscreen 🧴, and head for the sun on the Plage de la Réserve in Nice, you’ll recharge your vitamin D 💊. After that sun soak, head to Menton to enjoy a delicious Italian gelato and refuel 🍦.
