Les Foulées de Sud Roussillon

Need a race that feels like a southern vibe and that almost makes you believe you're on vacation for a day? 🌞 The Sud Roussillon Runs is the perfect event for you! 🤗 We’ll meet you at the start of the month of Junein OccitanieSaint-Cyprienin the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales ⛰️. An exceptional setting will let you discover this region so rich and so lively! ✨ This athletic event around the foot race 🏃‍♂️ is drawing more and more enthusiasts each year 🥰, so don’t miss this 4th edition that promises to be festive 🎉. After a pre-race warm-up to music 🥁, you’ll be able to enjoy several road races just steps from the seafront, but that’s not all! 😉

Starting from Latour-Bas-Elne, three routes are offered for the little or big runner you are 💪 : 5 km, 10 km and a half marathon. To make the event as as welcoming as possible and to unite the whole family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, three other events are on the program: a Nordic walking of 5 km non-timed 🚶, a hike gourmet 🤤 and trails for the little ones ! 😁 Note that all events are wheelchair accessible and accessible for people with disabilities 🧑‍🦽. The routes will take you through the towns of the Sud Roussillon ! 📍 For the semi, you’ll tread 5 of the 6 communes of the territory and even have a chance (or not) to run on the sand for about 1 km 🏖️. You’ll even pass by the port of Saint-Cyprien plage and the Tauléra Garden! 🌱 On the 10 km, you’ll traverse the Parc de la Prade, the wine lands and bucolic countryside for a touch of nature 👩‍🌾. The 5 km will also treat you to the rural side and bucolic landscapes of the Sud Roussillon 🖼️, a perfect sight for Nordic walkers 🤓. And if you’d rather mix sport with pleasure, try the gourmet hiking with its 10 kmand numerous stands of local products and wines 🍷 to taste 😋.

Speaking of food 🍽️, because yes, we know that every runner has a sweet tooth 😅, food-trucks, snack bars and a water bar will be set up at the starting village majority of products will be local and made with love 😍. Everyone will be invited to share a timeless moment 🎈, under the beautiful southern sun with the sound of waves 🌊 in the background 🎶. If you’d like a moment of relaxation just for you after the race, that will be possible! 😌 Some doctors, some physiotherapists, some osteopaths, some podiatrists and some reflexologists will be present at the event to pamper you 💆‍♂️. You’ll be able to head home looking sharp 😎 for a few days in the surroundings 🚗. Why not cross the border to Spain 🇪🇸 or head to Perpignan to visit its iconic monuments? 🤩
