About this event

In Seysses, in Haute-Garonne, the Foulées du Dindon invite you to explore the Domaine de Lamothe in a morning of solidarity that blends running, walking, and a virtual challenge. Choose between 7 km, 12 km, or 5 km of walking, with a bucolic setting among fields and meadows, perfect for enjoying the sun and the fresh air. Each bib contributes to the Purpan Foundation, combining conviviality, sport, and solidarity.

In Seysses, the only turkeys you’ll run into this weekend have 2 wings, 2 legs, and nothing to do with tricks 😂.

Located about twenty minutes southwest of Toulouse, in the heart of Haute-Garonne, the Domaine de Lamothe opens its paths in September for a morning that blends running and good intentions. In the early days of the new school year, as summer lingers and the sun occitan bathes the surroundings, you’ll take off at dawn for a charitable route through local farmland 🚜. At this time, temperatures hover around 15-20°C, ideal for a smooth run without gasping, between morning dew and cultivated earth. Running, the option is open for a 7 km or 12 km. Decide what intensity you want to bring to the effort 😝. Either way, both routes will immerse you in greenery and nature. Forget urban trails, city-center races or the skyscrapers spread out before you—here, it's the fresh air on your face that will clear your mind 🌬️. For the less motivated participants, or those who prefer to explore the surroundings at a relaxed pace, a 5 km walk is also organized. Perfect to start your Sunday morning before a hearty lunch at grandma’s at noon 🕛. The final event is a 7 km virtual race. No excuse not to sign up: wherever you are, you can cover your 7 km of happiness!

The playing field, we’ve already mentioned it: it’s the Domaine de Lamothe, a farm estate attached to the École d'ingénieurs de Purpan. You’ll see cattle in flesh and bone 🐄. Here, we trade asphalt for winding paths through fields, meadows and groves. The profile is fairly flat: little elevation and broad stretches where you can let loose (in a figurative sense) for the duration of the effort 🌳. On the running side, you have the choice between paths of 7 km or 12 km. Your call on the intensity you want to bring to the effort 😝. In any case, whichever you choose, you’ll see greenery and nature. Forget urban trails, the center of town races or the skyscrapers to gaze at; here, fresh air on your face will clear your mind 🌬️. For the least motivated participants, or those who prefer to take time to discover the surroundings, a walk of 5 km is also organized. Perfect to start your Sunday morning before a hearty lunch at grandma’s at noon 🕛. The last event is the 7 km virtual race

But at Purpan, the clock isn’t the only goal. Each bib contributes to funding the Purpan Foundation: 80 % of the price goes directly to projects supporting agriculture and biodiversity. The aim is to run, certainly, but with intelligence 🧠. You can forget about elite runners and big records; here the watchwords are festivity, solidarity and conviviality. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a Sunday walker, everyone will find their format 🤝. Halfway between physical activity and a farm discovery stroll, families will also find plenty to delight the younger ones 👶.

After the effort, it’s time to unwind. Food trucks (food trucks) await at the finish line, with local specialties that simply beg to be tasted. For the corporate challenge runners, a small surprise is in store: each participant will leave with a homemade product, to choose between gingerbread or farm honey 🍯. A nice way to keep a good memory of the event and share it with absentees on Monday morning by the coffee machine ☕️. If you’re not local, you can also stroll to the “Ville Rose”, just two strides from here: Toulouse. The prefecture of Occitanie invites you (and especially its tables) to savor the best violet candies and cassoulets of the region 🍬. To digest, you can then head to the banks of the Garonne and let your legs bask in the sun. A tan from the Antoine Dupont or the Romain Ntamack excite you? "This is Toulouse" and we suggest you take notes because locals are proud to remind you 🗣️. At the Foulées du Dindon, we turn every step into a grain of corn, and the turkey, well, clearly stops being a joke .

So, are you coming to donner the turkey with us? 🥾
