Popular, free, and legendary, the Tram Runners have everything to please you. Realize that this road race is as old as the Bronzed skiers hit the slopes ⛷️? Since 1979, it brings together thousands of runners for its friendly and festive atmosphere in Loire-Atlantique, but not only! The course changes every year and that, we guarantee, stirs the curiosity of devoted participants. The slightly heavy and sometimes rainy October weather doesn’t dampen their motivation! So head to Nantes to see what’s going on there 🧐!

For the distance, we’re not going to trap you in a scavenger hunt! You’ve got 14.8 kilometers to let your genius loose on the Nantes pavement, to take or leave ! A true road race full of discoveries that starts outside Nantes. You can imagine the organizers love to surprise you, so we won’t reveal everything! But to pique your curiosity, you’ll discover the Chateau des ducs de Bretagne 🏰. You’ll even have a chance to splash your friends or neighbors as you pass by the Water Mirror on its esplanade 💧. Not too much though, otherwise the famous Machines of the Isle won’t work and given their size, you won’t miss them! Finally, the band will not tell you to watch your step when getting off the tram but will carry you melodically along the promenade of the Cours Saint Pierre adjacent to the beautiful Cathedral of Nantes.
